Gear

I'm not rich, so I started off with some very basic gear, and over time have added newer and improved items. I used to stay in hotels while riding, and if you think of the cost of one night in a hotel compared to the cost of a decent sleeping pad which you can use over and over again, then spending a bit more on gear begins to make sense, and of course it has to perform for you. The gear I use is middle of the road in terms of expense, and it has all been tested by yours truly over and over starting in 2006 when I began moto camping for the first time.
